In a single inspiring evening, nearly 250 guests and volunteers came together to help raise more than $215,000 to fund the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. The beautiful Show Choir, our incredible Master of Ceremonies – Joe Piscopo, our lively band – The Cameos, our remarkable honorees, and most importantly, your support has established a new standard in fundraising. In just 8 years’ time, the Starry Night Gala has raised over $1.6 million. We are committed to making this cancer’s last century and your generous support will help make that a reality. Mr. Joseph Trunfio, Ms. Lydia Nadeau and Dr. James Wong’s continuous dedication to the American Cancer Society symbolizes both the science and charity involved in finding a cure and eliminating cancer as a major health problem. New Jersey Hall of Fame | 2014 Induction Ceremony

Dear john,On behalf of the Commissioners and the Board of the NJ Hall of Fame, we are most thankful for your generous donation to November’s induction ceremony. By all accounts, and thanks to your help, it was the most successful event in the Hall of Fame’s history! The NJ Hall of Fame, as a 501 c-3 charitable organization, relies solely on private dollars to sustain our mission of honoring these extraordinary new Jerseyans every year. This year’s class, including stand-outs Brian Williams, and Howard Katz, made national headlines with their emotional remarks about their home state. But, as we know, the most important thing about the Hall of Fame is to continue our primary educational mission both through sustaining the mobile museum and to enhance the educational curricula that uses NJ Hall of Fame inductees as life models for our young people. You never know which Hall of Famer may ignite a spark of genius in today’s seventh grader! Once again, thank you.
